Experience the perfect blend of art and indulgence in Willow’s Art Walk Afternoon Tea at The Whitby Hotel. Inspired by Willow Kemp, Firmdale Hotels’ Art Ambassador and Design Director, and her upcoming Art Walk on 15th November, this special afternoon tea features a curated display paired with freshly brewed teas.

Enjoy an artful assortment of savouries, from elevated sandwiches including Smoked chicken salad with parsley aioli and watercress and Egg salad with Périgord black truffle remoulade, to an indulgent Curried Maine lobster roll.

Each dessert is a miniature masterpiece inspired by the art around the hotel. The Valrhona gianduja Maarten Baas clock and Maarten Baas vanilla macaron take inspiration from Dutch designer and artist, Maarten Baas, and his grand clock artwork that stands proudly in our lobby. The Tilson cranberry ginger cheesecake is decorated with bold colours and illustrations to mirror the vibrant tile piece by Joe Tilson that covers the wall above our lower ground stairwell.

No afternoon tea is complete without freshly baked scones, and ours are lemon poppyseed, served warm with clotted cream and preserves. Enjoy everything alongside choice of drip coffee, hot chocolate, speciality tea or even a glass of Champagne.
