Fridays with Cait Jones
On Friday nights, we welcome New York based jazz vocalist, lyricist and visual artist Cait Jones to Warren Street Bar & Resturant. A Manhattan native, her presence in a room is magnetic and full of joy. With a depth of range and vocal control, she has delighted crowds across the world.
Her performance credits include Jazz at Lincoln Center, Birdland, Mezzrow and B.B. King's, along with a six-year residency at Fine & Rare and The Flatiron Room. As a child, she sang with the New York Children's Chorus at Alice Tully Hall, Carnegie Hall and George Harrison's 2001 Rainforest Benefit Concert. She holds a BA in Fine Art from Skidmore College.

The Sam Taylor Trio
Hailed by All About Jazz as "wise beyond his years" and "remarkable" by Toronto Music Report, saxophonist Sam Taylor lives and performs in New York City. A Philadelphia native, Taylor is a recording artist on Cellar Live. Along The Way, Taylor’s sophomore release, took his group on a five concert tour of the Pacific Northwest and Canada in January of 2020.
Past performance highlights include leading his quintet for two nights at The TD Vancouver International Jazz Festival 2018; performing at jazz legend James Moody's 80th Birthday Celebration; touring Europe as a guest soloist with The Noord-Nederlands Conservatorium Symphonic Jazz & Orchestra. Taylor is a recipient of New York Foundation for the Arts; City Artist Corps Grant 2021, and a recipient of a New Artist grant from The Netherland America Foundation.
