Learn to paint interiors in watercolor and mixed media with SJ Axelby, artist, author and host of the cult weekly painting challenge 'Room Portrait Club'.

Join SJ for a special workshop where you will create your own interior portrait from a selection of Firmdale Hotels' rooms and vignettes. The class is tailored to the skills of the participants, from beginners to those well versed in watercolor there will be plenty to learn and enjoy. For those new to it all, SJ will guide guests through the basics of painting interiors in watercolor; teaching how to mix and blend colors, create flawless color washes, pick out patterns, and discover clever tricks and shortcuts to create a soulful interior portrait. You will end with a beautiful painting of your own to take home and display.
