Ease into Monday evenings at The Crosby Bar in SoHo with live music from New York vocalist and songwriter Alexa Barchini. Set within the hotel’s vibrant bar and restaurant, Alexa performs alongside a bassist, bringing her soulful vocals and guitar to create an intimate mix of bossa nova, folk, and Americana.
About Alexa Barchini
New York vocalist and songwriter Alexa Barchini grew up surrounded by music. The daughter of an opera singer, she discovered her love of music at home and has since toured the US and Europe while remaining a fixture of the New York music scene. Her performance credits include Blue Note, Dizzy’s Club Coca-Cola, National Sawdust, The Owl Music Parlor, Smalls, and Smoke Jazz Club, as well as the Kimmel Center in Philadelphia and the Regatta Bar in Boston.
Alexa is currently working on an album of her own original songs, performed on 37 strings. She began writing on guitar in 2021, growing from casual experimentation into a full collection of diverse songs, which she performs alongside Jackson FitzGerald on baritone guitar, Bobby Hawk on fiddle, and Luke Bergman on pedal steel.
