Thanksgiving

Thanksgiving in London has become something of a tradition at Brasserie Max in Covent Garden, and this year our menu is as celebratory as ever. The festivities begin with a welcome cocktail accompanied by cheddar and green chilli cornbread with maple butter, before a feast inspired by flavours of the US.

Think New England clam and sweetcorn chowder to start, followed by roast bronze turkey with stuffing, gravy and cranberry sauce accompanied by hearty sides for the table to share. For dessert, enjoy American classics like pumpkin pie with crème fraîche and a pecan maple tart with whipped cream.

Deck the Halls

Covent Garden Hotel has long been associated with the theatre and at Christmas we love nothing more than to embrace this tradition. Twinkling trees provide a merry welcome in the lobby, while evergreen foliage wends its way up the sweeping staircase that leads up to our wood-panelled Library and Drawing Room. Here, large garlands are strung across the fireplaces creating the cosiest of spots to spend an hour or two.
