Christmas Eve
Christmas Eve sets the tone for a truly unforgettable stay. Children can delight in festive film screenings by the indoor pool and gingerbread decorating with our talented pastry chef, before laying out their stockings and treats for Father Christmas and Rudolph. For adults, the festivities begin with cocktails, canapés and joyful live jazz in Brumus Bar.
Attend Midnight Mass at nearby St Martin-in-the-Fields in Trafalgar Square or opt for a relaxed evening in. Enjoy warming tipples served from our trolley in the lobby and find a cosy spot in the Library or retreat for an early night in your beautiful suite.

From 5:30pm: Canapés, cocktails and live jazz in the bar

Christmas Day
Soak up the joy and excitement of Christmas morning with loved ones, knowing that plans for the day are all taken care of. Kick off the big day with a hearty breakfast at Brumus and enjoy a slow morning or head to the uplifting Christmas Day service at St Martin-in-the-Fields.
The afternoon begins with Champagne and canapés before a showstopping Christmas lunch at Brumus, featuring classic festive favourites, contemporary seasonal dishes and a special children's menu full of Christmas treats.
Make yourself at home throughout the day. Watch the King’s Speech or a Christmas film by the pool, enjoy fun family competition over board games or simply mix your favourite drink from the Honesty Bar and get lost in a book. For those who like something to graze on in the evening, we'll be laying out an extravagant supper spread so you can help yourself to an array of cold cuts, cheeses and fresh salads.
7am - 10:30am: Breakfast at Brumus
10:30am: Christmas Day Eucharist service at St Martin-in-the-Fields
1:30pm - 4pm: Champagne and canapés in the Library and Conservatory followed by Christmas Day lunch
3pm: King’s Speech screened throughout the hotel
6pm - 8pm: Grazing table supper
Boxing Day
Ease into Boxing Day with a leisurely breakfast accompanied by Bloody Marys mixed to your liking from our trolley. We'll be hosting a relaxed, beginner-friendly morning yoga session, as well as a guided walk through some of London's most iconic landmarks that surround Haymarket Hotel, from Trafalgar Square to Buckingham Palace.
At Brumus, a Boxing Day set menu will be available for lunch or dinner, featuring seasonal dishes that showcase British produce. Alternatively, partake in a quintessential English tradition and treat yourself to our London Calling Afternoon Tea. As we wind down into the evening, join us in the bar for a Christmas quiz and savour the final festivities of your magical holiday.

9am: Beginner-friendly yoga class
11am: Guided London landmark walk
From 12pm: Boxing Day set menu available for lunch or dinner

Festive Private Events & Parties
Host an unforgettable event this holiday season in the heart of London’s lively West End at Haymarket Hotel. From intimate celebrations with sharing menus in our characterful Rocklin and Nash Rooms to spectacular private dining in the Shooting Gallery and sensational Christmas parties in our underground pool and bar, we have a truly unique collection of luxury event spaces that offer something for every occasion. The grand Shooting Gallery can seat up to 70 guests for private dining, configured as round tables of 10. Begin with pre-dinner drinks in the Library before enjoying a traditional festive set menu in a majestic setting, surrounded by intricate design and playful festive displays.
A true hidden gem in the West End that is sure to blow your guests away, our subterranean swimming pool is an unforgettable setting for lively parties and private dining. The space can be transformed with fun and vibrant decorations and the pool can be entirely or partially covered to create a private dining arrangement or dance floor for 70 - 160 guests.
Each individually designed in Kit Kemp’s signature style, the Rocklin and Nash Rooms are smaller spaces brimming with creative personality, offering a characterful backdrop for up to 22 guests to enjoy private dining in London.
Christmas Dining
Positioned amongst the twinkling lights and decorative displays that fill the West End, Brumus is the perfect restaurant for Christmas lunch in London.
Toast with Champagne and canapés, before a four-course feast beginning with starters including, duck pâté en croute and native lobster and Atlantic prawn cocktail. Opt for the classic roast bronze turkey with all the trimmings and traditional Christmas pudding with brandy sauce, or try something a little different like our beetroot and spinach pithivier and brown butter poached halibut with celeriac, kale and caper crumb. For little ones, we'll be serving an array of festive treats in a special children's Christmas menu.
