British born artist, Martha Freud, founded her studio practice in 2008. Known for the slogans that she embeds into her creations, Martha's delicately constructed ceramics balance a fragile beauty with her own touch of whimsy.
From hand rendered pendant lighting to glowing plates and Mixed Messages boxes, Martha's work takes on many forms, yet remains united by her authentic approach. You can find her intricate handmade pots illuminating the walls at Ham Yard Hotel and Dorset Square Hotel in London and The Whitby Hotel and Warren Street Hotel in New York.
During a day-long session, you'll learn all about Martha's unique artistic style and the inspiration behind her delicately crafted pieces. Martha will guide you through the process of crafting your own ceramic plant pot and water tray out of clay and decorating them with an inscription, to create a truly personal handmade ceramic to cherish.
Following the session your items will be fired, glazed and delivered to your preferred address.
