Grower Champagne Dinner With Benoît Déhu
- Monday 13th October
- 6.30pm - 9.30pm
- £150 per person
- The Orangery at Ham Yard
Join us for an evening to remember in the beautiful Orangery at Ham Yard Hotel, as we welcome acclaimed grower and producer Benoît Déhu for a celebratory Champagne dinner, showcasing his exceptional terroir driven cuvées.
Firmdale Hotels is proud to be exclusively serving Champagne Déhu in the UK, making this event a particularly special occasion. This is a rare chance to discover these wines in the company of the winemaker himself, who will guide you through each cuvée and share the stories behind the bottles.
The special thing about grower Champagnes is that they are made by the same people who farm the grapes. This is a different approach taken to that of the more well known, branded Champagne houses. These are wines of origin - rooted in place, made with care, and deeply expressive of the land they come from. Benoît Déhu is one such producer: an eighth generation vigneron crafting organic Champagne from his family’s estate in the Vallée de la Marne towards the west of Champagne. Having trained at Bollinger, Déhu is celebrated for his focus on Pinot Meunier - a grape often overlooked but treated by Benoît with the precision and care typically reserved for Chardonnay and Pinot Noir.
Enjoy a five course menu, thoughtfully paired with the Champagnes, for an evening full food and fizz.
