Kit Kemp
Kit Kemp MBE is the Creative Director of Firmdale Hotels, which she co-founded with her husband, Tim Kemp, in 1985.
Responsible for the globally renowned design of our 11 hotels in London & New York, Kit has created iconic design destinations that are beloved and celebrated around the world. The design in each hotel weaves her signature charm, wit and passion for craft and artistry into every corner, with each room championing contemporary makers and traditional techniques alike.
At the helm of Kit Kemp Design Studio, internationally acclaimed Kit Kemp MBE has forged a unique path, creating exciting, characterful and vibrant hospitality and residential interiors that ignite the imagination. Kit is an accomplished textiles, fragrance and homewares designer, author and a highly respected champion of art, craft and sculpture.
