We are delighted to unveil the debut SIX the Musical Afternoon Tea at The Soho Hotel. Created in collaboration with the hit West End show celebrating the six Wives of Henry VIII, our talented pastry chefs have developed a royal selection fit for a queen.
The crowning glory of our display comes in the form of six themed pastries, individually designed to represent each of the iconic Wives and their roles in this much loved musical:
- Aragon’s Crown of Honour
- Boleyn’s Strawberry Biscuit
- Seymour’s Heart of Stone Blueberry Choux
- Black Forest Cake of Cleves
- Howard’s All You Want is Rice Pudding
- Parr’s Tudor Rose and Lemon Curd Macaron
Expect a spread worthy of Hampton Court with a Tudor twist on the classic finger sandwich selection, accompanied by savoury specials including a Crayfish manchet roll and Mature cheddar tart with onion jam. And of course, no traditional English afternoon tea would be complete without fluffy scones paired with clotted cream and preserves.
Raise a glass to the queens with a drink crafted in their honour. Try The Ex-Wives - a crisp, peachy blend of dry white wine, grapefruit and rosemary – or opt for the non-alcoholic Lady in Waiting, with elderflower, peach and jasmine.
