Join us as we celebrate the diversity of Italian wine at our next curated dinner with our friends at Swig Wines, known for their rare and characterful bottles.
Hosted by their Italian wine expert Nelson Pari, he has worked closely with small scale producers across Italy and is known for championing unique styles and off the beaten track terroirs.
The evening begins with a welcome glass of Col Fondo Prosecco, a naturally fermented, unfiltered sparkling wine, served alongside a generous spread of antipasti. The four course menu, including Tortellini with slow cooked beef and red wine ragú and Classic Osso Buco is thoughtfully paired with regional Italian wines, beginning in Tuscany with two expressions of Sangiovese. We then journey to Piemonte with the iconic Barolo, followed by a cheese course highlighting bold, sun soaked flavours from Sicily and the south. Finish with a Negroni sorbet, perfectly complemented by a sweet Lambrusco.
