Joe’s passion for cooking was inspired at an early age by both his parents. Their enthusiasm and happiness in the kitchen was contagious and family mealtimes were always fun. Joe often found himself cooking for friends and the pleasure of bringing people together around a table, has been a constant driving force for him.
Joe says “As pioneers of service and design I’ve been a long-time admirer of Firmdale Hotels and am truly thrilled to be joining the team. I am looking forward to creating menus that are led by flavour; combining seasonality with my own version of classic dishes for a memorable dining experience”.
He will be crafting menus for each restaurant drawing inspiration from seasonal British produce and with a focus on sustainability. Working with the best British producers and trusted suppliers who have a similar ethos in supporting low impact food, the brasserie style dishes will be rooted in British cooking with contemporary flair.
