The Sam Taylor Trio
Hailed by All About Jazz as "wise beyond his years" and "remarkable" by Toronto Music Report, saxophonist Sam Taylor lives and performs in New York City. A Philadelphia native, Taylor is a recording artist on Cellar Live. Along The Way, Taylor’s sophomore release, took his group on a five concert tour of the Pacific Northwest and Canada in January of 2020.
Past performance highlights include leading his quintet for two nights at The TD Vancouver International Jazz Festival 2018; performing at jazz legend James Moody's 80th Birthday Celebration; touring Europe as a guest soloist with The Noord-Nederlands Conservatorium Symphonic Jazz & Orchestra. Taylor is a recipient of New York Foundation for the Arts; City Artist Corps Grant 2021, and a recipient of a New Artist grant from The Netherland America Foundation.

On Saturday nights, the energy shifts as we welcome New Orleans Renaissance to Warren Street Bar & Restaurant, a lively New Orleans–style band filling the air with soulful brass, irresistible rhythms, and that unmistakable Big Easy spirit.
New Orleans Renaissance is composed of some of the top hot jazz performers in New York City. The band has appeared on the TV series "The Artist," starring Mandy Patinkin, and performs regularly around the city. The band seeks to recreate the soulful sounds and the toe tapping joy of the city of New Orleans. Take a trip down south with us and enjoy the early jazz stylings of New Orleans Renaissance.
