Join us at Warren Street Hotel for an intimate evening with acclaimed author Joyce Carol Oates, celebrating her new collection of short stories, The Frenzy. During an insightful talk, set in the hotel’s light-filled Orangery, surrounded by vibrant interiors and contemporary art, Joyce will be joined in conversation with bestselling author and podcast host Dani Shapiro.
A gripping and psychologically suspenseful collection, The Frenzy explores moments of crisis, confusion, and emotional upheaval, where a single encounter or decision can alter the course of a life. Together, Joyce and Dani will discuss the themes running throughout the book, including obsession, memory, suspense, and the enduring power of the short story form.
Enjoy a welcome drink on arrival at the Orangery ahead of the talk, which will begin promptly at 6:30pm followed by an audience Q&A and a book signing with Joyce. Books will be available to purchase on the evening via Rizzoli.Â

About Joyce Carol Oates
