We are delighted to welcome photographer, gardener and writer Harriet Thistlethwayte, to Number Sixteen for an intimate evening celebrating her debut lifestyle book, A Country Style: Living and Creating with Nature Through the Seasons. Harriet will be in conversation with interiors and lifestyle creator and author, Paula Sutton, exploring the inspiration behind her new book and her love of living in tune with the seasons.

From her garden and Victorian greenhouse in Herefordshire to her kitchen and home, Harriet shares an unhurried approach to making the most of the seasons, both indoors and out. Through A Country Style, Harriet will share ideas, projects and recipes inspired by the natural world, including growing flowers and vegetables, creating hand-tied bouquets, seasonal entertaining and simple recipes to enjoy throughout the year.

The talk will start promptly at 6.30pm and will be followed by a Q&A and a chance to meet Harriet and Paula and have your book signed. Books will be available to buy on the evening.

Harriet Thistlethwayte is a photographer and writer. She is passionate about seasonality and using locally sourced ingredients and her Victorian greenhouse has become a staple of her Instagram account, @yomargey where she relates the trials and tribulations of rural living, her love for flowers and chippy old furniture.

About Paula Sutton

Paula Sutton (aka Hill House Vintage) is a stylist, homemaker, author, columnist and style icon, celebrated for her distinctive blend of vintage charm and contemporary elegance.
