This autumn, we celebrate the highly anticipated release of Downton Abbey: The Grand Finale with a special Fashion & Cinema event at The Soho Hotel. Join us in our private cinema for an exclusive screening of the iconic series’ final feature on the weekend of its release, followed by an in-conversation between the film’s acclaimed costume designer Anna Mary Scott Robbins.

Downton Abbey: The Grand Finale follows the Crawley family and their devoted staff as they enter the 1930s and lead Downton Abbey into the future. The beloved cast of characters face public scandal, financial pressures and sweeping societal change as the next generation takes the lead.

Anna will offer behind-the-scenes insight into the creative process behind the film’s elegant and historically rich costumes. From aristocratic glamour, to the subtle shifts in style that marked the dawn of a new era, Anna’s designs have shaped the look and feel of Downton Abbey since 2013, capturing the elegance and drama of the series as it moves into the 1930s for its cinematic return. The talk will explore how historical accuracy and creative vision work hand-in-hand to bring the world of Downton to life on screen.

Continue the evening at Refuel Bar & Restaurant with a seasonal three course meal. It’s the perfect opportunity to reflect on the film, catch up with friends, and toast to the finale of this much-loved series. Tickets including dinner are £70 per person.
