    This May, The Potting Shed will celebrate the very best of British spring produce including tender Thorogood asparagus, West Country lamb and iconic English wines from Chapel Down.

    On Friday 17th May, the evening will begin with a glass of Chapel Down's Bacchus sparkling wine, alongside a selection of canapés in the charming surroundings of The Potting Shed at Marylebone's Dorset Square Hotel.

    After a welcome drink, settle in for a delicious three-course menu created by Firmdale Hotels' Executive Head Chef, Robin Read and The Potting Shed's Head Chef, Donatas Drukteinis. Enjoy seasonal dishes including asparagus vinaigrette with goats cheese and wild garlic flowers to start, followed by West Country lamb cutlet with pea, mint, lettuce with caramelised sweetbreads, and lamb lardons paired with Chapel Down's Pinot Noir, with aromas of blackberry, plum and leather with an earthy undertone.

    Based in Kent, Chapel Down produces a world-class range of sparkling and still wines, with fruit sourced from the South-East of England. The dinner will hosted together with Thorogood Asparagus, a family run farm based in Southminster, which has been growing asparagus for 25 years. 

    £50 per person to include a glass of Chapel Down and canapés reception in the bar and a three-course dinner with expert wine pairings.

    The Thorogood family has been growing Asparagus from farm in Southminster, Essex for over 25 years. Now supplying restaurants, farm shops and deli's throughout Essex and London. Each weekend during the season Thorogood travel up to London to the farmers markets at Pimlico, South Kensington and Alexandra Palace.
