    NYC Restaurant Week is the highly anticipated celebration of dining throughout New York City. With set menus from the City’s finest restaurants, NYC Restaurant Week invites diners to sample the best of New York’s culinary culture.

    The Whitby Bar & Restaurant will be taking part in the new year with a delicious three-course set menu for $42 or two-courses for $26.

    Enjoy seasonal dishes including galantine of chicken with Asian pear and sesame seed mostardo on toasted sourdough to start, followed by skate wing with braised cabbage, pommes puree and Bordelaise. Finish your meal with a tempting dessert, such as s’mores cake with candied hazelnut and smoked vanilla ice cream.

    STARTERS
    Chestnut and celeriac soup, nutmeg cream
    Kale and Beluga lentil salad, grapes, ricotta salata, raisin-caper vinaigrette
    Galantine of chicken, Asian pear and sesame seed mostardo, toasted sourdough
    Smoked salmon, braised leeks, gribiche

    MAINS
    Warm delicata squash salad, pumpkin seed hummus, labne, watercress and arugula
    Blackened chicken breast, escarole, white beans
    Cabernet braised short rib, old world polenta, grilled scallions
    Skate wing, braised cabbage, pommes purée, Bordelaise

    DESSERTS
    Lemon tart, Chantilly cream
    Yoghurt cheesecake, cranberry sorbet
    S’mores cake, candied hazelnut, smoked vanilla ice cream
    House made sorbets and gelatos (gf)

    2 course set lunch menu $26 per person

    Parties of 8 or more will choose from our special Prix Fixe menus.
    An automatic gratuity of 20% will be added to parties of 5 or more.
    The 2 course set menu is only available for lunch.
