Join us at The Whitby Hotel and let your senses travel to France. Spend the night in our private reading room enjoying a five-course tasting menu delicately paired with wines from Château Talbot.
On top of the plateau of Saint-Julien, in the Médoc region of Bordeaux, Château Talbot proudly sits in the midst of an ocean of vines, parks and tall trees. Château Talbot comprises 110 hectares of a single vineyard in the heart of the Saint-Julien commune, an outstanding appellation as it counts no fewer than 11 classified growths.
The tasting will be led by owner Jean-Paul Bignon. Jean-Paul Bignon’s wife Nancy Cordier is the great-granddaughter of Désiré Cordier who purchased this Grand Cru Classé of Saint Julien in 1918. Nancy and Jean-Paul manage the estate with the help of Managing director and winemaker Jean-Michel Laporte and his team.
