Join us on our Roof Terrace at Ham Yard Hotel for a special pop-up with The Nature and Spirit of Japan, showcasing The House of Suntory range of whisky, gin and vodka with an array of cocktails created by the Ham Yard Bar. Enjoy Japanese-inspired small plates and a series of masterclasses from calligraphy to ikebana.

This special season will evolve, transitioning from winter to spring, before concluding with the bloom of the iconic Sakura Blossom. During cooler months, wrap up with warm blankets on our heated Terrace which overlooks the lights of Soho and experience a taste of Japan.

Thursday 2nd and 9th February - Tea Ceremony with Hibiki
Thursday 16th, 24th February and 2nd March - Kintsugi with Toki
Thursday 9th, 16th and 23rd March - Ikebana with Roku
Thursday 30th March and 6th April - Calligraphy with Haku

Masterclasses £45 per person which includes the masterclass session, a welcome drink, spirit tasting and a cocktail of choice.

Since 1923, Suntory has been renowned as the pioneer of Japanese whisky for its House of Master Blenders and for their Art of Blending. The founding father of Japanese whisky Shinjiro Torii built Japan’s first malt whisky distillery in Yamazaki, and the Suntory legacy continued with Torii’s son, Keizo Saji, Suntory’s second master blender who continued to establish distilleries including the Hakushu distillery. As the generations of Suntory’s master blenders carry on, Suntory Whisky remains committed to heritage and innovation. The House of Suntory Whisky has been named four-time Distiller of the Year at the International Spirits Challenge in London, UK (2010, 2012, 2013, 2014). Suntory Whiskies are subtle, refined and complex. The portfolio includes two single malt whiskies: Yamazaki—Japan’s N°1 Single Malt, multi-layered and profound, Hakushu—verdant, fresh, and delicately smoky; and two blends: the noble blend, Hibiki—Japan’s most highly awarded blended whisky and Suntory Whisky Toki.
