Join us for an exclusive dinner celebrating winter truffles at The Potting Shed with renowned truffle supplier, Arturo Iannuzzi, who has worked with Firmdale Hotels' Group Executive Head Chef, Robin Read for 19 years.
Highlighting these exceptional Italian winter truffles, Robin Read has created a delicious three-course seasonal menu with expertly matched wine pairings, alongside The Potting Shed's Head Chef, Donatas Drukteinis. The dinner will have a strong emphasis on all things truffle, from specially created tapenades and sauces to fresh truffles.
Arturo Iannuzzi first began truffle hunting in 1999, working in an Italian family with five generations-worth of experience in finding and selling truffles. Traditionally, pigs were utilised in the extraction of truffles from the ground; now specially trained dogs are more commonly used as they are much less likely to eat the truffle when found. Though the family are based in the mountains, the years of knowledge passed from one generation to the next has led them to be true experts in the search for the best truffles throughout Italy. Arturo has since started his own truffle company, supplying Firmdale Hotels with the highest quality truffles.
£50 per person, including a three-course dinner with expertly matched wine pairings, as well as a glass of sparkling wine and canapes on arrival.
