Join us at Charlotte Street Hotel for a very special Talk and Creative Workshop, as part of London Craft Week 2023.

The day will begin in the Drawing Room with a lively discussion hosted by Kit Kemp, Founder and Creative Director of Firmdale Hotels and Kit Kemp Design Studio, in conversation with Eppie Thompson of The Fabled Thread and Victoria Gillies, Executive Director of the charity, Fine Cell Work, on the art of stitching. The talk will focus on their shared love of craft, celebrating both the ‘act’ and the ‘art’ of the stitch.

The discussion will be followed by a special embroidery workshop hosted by Eppie Thompson, where guests will spend the day learning to master key stitches and creating their  own compositions. You will leave the workshop with a tote bag containing a guide on embroidery stitches, a Jabberwocky embroidery kit containing an embroidery hoop and needles, and all the fabric and thread required to continue your own design from home.

Tickets are £200 per person and include the talk, a full day workshop and all materials, as well as morning coffee and lunch served in the beautiful Oscar Bar & Restaurant.
