    We have an exciting opportunity for a Hotel Controller to join our highly successful team at The Soho Hotel. Your main responsibility as a Hotel Controller will be to oversee the stock control of the hotel.

    You will be organised and manage stock levels and stock rotation effectively. You will have excellent computer skills and knowledge of Excel. As Hotel Controller you will report directly to the General Manager on all financial aspects of the hotel.

    Essential Key Skills

    • Previous experience as a Hotel Controller in Hotel or Restaurant
    • Organised and logical approach to work
    • Superb attention to detail
    • Excellent communication skills
    • Previous experience in training and development
    • Experience using Micros and Filehound
    • Strong analytical skills
    • Resilience and drive to get things right first time
    • A clear understanding of the financial aspects of the business

    Duties

    • Accurately record all deliveries and monitor stock levels
    • Ensure all stock is available across the hotel departments
    • Supervise Goods Receiver
    • Analyse and create financial reports for General Manager
    • Undertake monthly stocktake audits
    • Review and correct P&L reports
    • Process all invoices on Filehound System
    • Assist with the preparation on the annual budget
    • Maintain budgeted cost of sales
    • Oversee hotel expenses

    We are currently recruiting for a Laundry Operative to join our highly successful team. Working closely with the Spa Manager, it will be your responsibility to focus on providing exceptional service and performing treatments including: massage, facials, manicures & pedicures, and waxing for our guests. This position requires a candidate that possesses a friendly and welcoming manner, excellent communication skills and impeccable presentation.

    As a Spa Beauty Therapist you will have the opportunity to learn and develop, with the potential to progress within the company. If progression isn’t your thing, that’s fine too, we would still be interested in finding out more about you. Working as part of our Soholistic team, you will need to establish strong and professional relationships with the guests to help build a successful client base. You should be confident conducting a wide range of treatments and have a good command of the packages and treatments on offer. You will also be able to manage your time effectively between treatments and help coordinate the daily bookings. Spa Beauty Therapist is a hands on, operational role and will suit someone who has a NVQ Level 3 in Beauty Therapy and likes working with ambitious, friendly and hardworking people.
