Winemaker Dinner: LOMBARDY

Join us for the return of Covent Garden Hotel's Winemaker Dinners, as we celebrate the wines of the Italian region of Lombardy.
One of the most varied wine making territories, Lombardy stretches from the shores of Lake Garda, where you can find the first vineyard of the Franciacorta area, to the beautiful green landscapes of Oltrepò Pavese. Known for its geographically diverse landscape, the domain stretches up to Valtellina, where the Alps divide Italy from Switzerland and the wines are cultivated with a superbly delicate approach.
Dario Corradi and Luca Dusi, owners of artisanal Italian wine shop Passione Vino in Shoreditch, will take guests on a journey through this lesser-known region. Hosted in the vibrant surroundings of the Lyric and Fortune rooms, the evening will begin with a glass of wine and canapés before a four-course dinner. The menu will feature fresh seasonal ingredients from wild mushrooms and celeriac remoulade to plum panna cotta, alongside a selection of personally chosen Lombardy wine pairings.
The Winemaker Dinner is £60 per person including canapés and four-course dinner with wine pairings.
Guests are invited to arrive for drinks and canapes at 7pm before dinner at 7.30pm.
