The Whitby Hotel will host their inaugural Winemaker Dinner in partnership with award-winning producer of English Sparkling Wine, Nyetimber.

Nestled in the rolling hills of West Sussex, Nyetimber was the first English Sparkling Wine producer to craft wines specifically made from the three grape varieties - Pinot Noir, Pinot Meunier and Chardonnay. The historic Estate, which was first mentioned in the Domesday Book written in 1086, was previously owned by notable British historical figures including King Henry VIII, Thomas Cromwell and Anne of Cleves. In 1988, Nyetimber planted its first vines, and today, the producer is now regarded as one of the best Sparkling Wine producers in the world. 

The evening will begin with a glass of Nyetimber Classic Cuvee Multi-Vintage served with canapés before a three-course seasonal dinner, alongside a hand-picked selection of Nyetimber wines. Winemaker, Brad Greatrix, will host the evening, guiding you through the tasting notes of each wine.

This exclusive dinner marks Nyetimber's first winemaker dinner in the U.S. and serves as the launch of the acclaimed Nyetimber 1086 Rosé 2010 Prestige Cuvee which will be served alongside pancetta stuffed quail with blood orange gastrique, whilst the delicate sweetness of Cuvee Chérie Demi-Sec will complement a delicious dessert of Meyer lemon sabayon, meringue brulée and a fresh mango-citrus salad. 

$175 per person, including canapés and three-course dinner with Nyetimber wine pairings. (Including tax and gratuity)
