Join us at Knightsbridge Hotel for a special Afternoon Tea. First, guests are invited to enjoy a fascinating and intimate talk in the hotel’s beautiful Drawing Room with Dr Christine Checinska, Lead Curator of the V&A's critically acclaimed Africa Fashion exhibition. There will be time for guests to ask questions after the talk and everyone will receive complimentary tickets for a V&A exhibition of their choice. We will then serve your choice of Afternoon Tea or Champagne Tea in the bold and colourful Library to finish.

Described as landmark exhibition for the V&A and the first of its kind, Africa Fashion examines the global impact of a fashion scene as dynamic and varied as the continent itself. Celebrating its vitality, craft, colour and creativity, African fashion is presented as a self-defining art form that reveals the richness and diversity of African histories and cultures.

Lead Curator, Dr Christine Checinska is a British artist, designer and storyteller, who has spent three decades exploring the relationship between cloth, culture and race.
