Eppie Thompson, the creative force behind The Fabled Thread, is a textile artist who draws inspiration from folk art and global textiles, with storytelling at the heart of each piece. She is passionate about teaching sewing and the mindful benefits of the craft beyond just the piece you create

This full day workshop will be focused on creating your own designs. The morning will be dedicated to introducing two fundamental embroidery stitches, where you'll begin stitching one of the enchanting Jabberwocky kits. Later, you'll delve into the art of selecting colour palettes, finding inspiration, structuring designs, and transferring your composition to fabric. The remainder of the session will be devoted to bringing your unique creations to life, bolstering your confidence for future stitching endeavours.

Upon leaving the workshop, you'll take with you a tote bag filled with an embroidery stitch guide, the Jabberwocky kit comprising an embroidery hoop and needles, as well as all the fabric and thread needed to continue your own design at home.
