Picasso and Paper AT THE ROYAL ACADEMY OF ARTS
WITH A THREE-COURSE LUNCH AT HAM YARD BAR & Restaurant
AVAILABLE FROM 25 JANUARY UNTIL 13 APRIL 2020
Enjoy a seasonal three-course lunch or afternoon tea at Ham Yard Bar & Restaurant combined with a visit to the Royal Academy of Arts to see their highly anticipated new exhibition: Picasso and Paper, just a short walk from the hotel.
Bringing together more than 300 works and spanning the entirety of Picasso’s career, this ground-breaking exhibition will lay bare the workings of one of the greatest artistic minds of the 20th century. Some of the artist’s most enduring ideas were developed through drawing after drawing, but for Picasso this was just the start of paper’s endless possibilities.
From sketches on paper napkins to the monumental 4.8 metre collage Femme à leur toilette, these works illustrate the artist’s fascination with paper. Included in the exhibition are sketchbooks, poems and letters that reveal intimate insights into the artist’s life, and remarkable documentary footage offering a rare glimpse of a genius at work.
£52 per person including three-course lunch with a glass of sparkling wine at Ham Yard Hotel and tickets to the Royal Academy's Picasso and Paper exhibition.
