Jazz and Martinis at Brumus Bar & Restaurant
Join us on Thursdays from 6pm to 7.30pm to enjoy live jazz music and a variety of martinis with our crafted menu.
There are many theories in history about the true origin of the much loved martini cocktail. Popular theory suggests it evolved from a cocktail called the Martinez in the early 1860s in San Francisco. Guests would frequent The Occidental Hotel in San Francisco before taking a ferry to the nearby town Martinez, California. The aim was to produce something social and as “precious as gold” mixing sweetened gin with sweetened vermouth. This theory is of course still debated but, at Brumus, we present four different ways for you to enjoy this classic drink. Unwind and let the weekend begin early.
Please note, Jazz and Martinis at Brumus excludes: Thursday 21st July & Thursday 4th August.
