Brasserie Max at Covent Garden Hotel has partnered with Portobello Road Gin Distillery to launch Martini Mondays, a series of intimate masterclasses celebrating the much loved classic cocktail.
Join us at the bar to discover the history of this iconic cocktail, as the experts from the Portobello Road Gin Distillery delve into the history of the martini, over a cocktail or two. On Monday 14 October, Jake Burger co-founder of Portobello Road Gin will host the evening. During the masterclass, guests will sample a flight of miniature martinis including The Distillery Martini created with Portobello Road Gin, Dry vermouth and pink grapefruit twist.
After the masterclass, enjoy a menu of specially created cocktails including Paddington Bear's Marmalade Sandwich created with Portobello Road Butter Gin, orange marmalade, Aperol, lemon, egg whites and topped with toast dust or the Covent Club made with Portobello Road Gin, Earl Grey tea, lemon, egg white and blackberry.
£15 per person, including a flight of mini martini cocktail and masterclass.

ABOUT PORTOBELLO ROAD GIN DISTILLERY
In late 2011, nestled above a 19th century drinking den on London’s world-famous Portobello Road, three friends; Ged Feltham, Jake Burger & Paul Lane decided, after amassing a staggering collection of gin and alcoholic artefacts to open The Ginstitute.
