In late 2011, nestled above a 19th century drinking den on London’s world-famous Portobello Road, three friends; Ged Feltham, Jake Burger & Paul Lane decided, after amassing a staggering collection of gin and alcoholic artefacts to open The Ginstitute. It was whilst putting together this world-renowned experience, that they decided to create a gin that could call The Ginstitute home. After nine months of experimentation, they had developed a spirit that is uniquely versatile with a depth of character to suit all occasions, distinctions and libations. Thus, Portobello Road No. 171 Gin was born, a timeless London Dry with a blend of nine time-honoured botanicals from around the world.
