MAY 19 - HYDE PARK ON HUDSON
Historical drama directed by Roger Michell. Franklin D. Roosevelt starts an affair with his distant cousin Margaret "Daisy" Suckley, a situation that is made vastly more complicated by the arrival of the British King and Queen on a state visit. Starring Bill Murray, Laura Linney, Samuel West and Olivia Williams.

My Mother's Coat - directed by Marie-Margaux Tsakiri-Scanatovits. The film makers mother talks about post dictatorship Athens, her struggle to adapt to the Greek mentality, her memories of motherhood, and her longing to go back to her small town in Italy.

MAY 26 - QUARTET
British comedy directed by Dustin Hoffman and based on the play of the same name by Ronald Harwood. At a home for retired musicians, the annual concert to celebrate Verdi's birthday is disrupted by the arrival of Jean, an eternal diva and the former wife of one of the residents. Features an all-star cast including Maggie Smith, Michael Gambon, and Billy Connolly.

JUNE 2 - STOKER
After India's father dies, her Uncle Charlie, who she never knew existed, comes to live with her and her unstable mother. She comes to suspect this mysterious, charming man has ulterior motives and becomes increasingly infatuated with him. Starring Mia Wasikowska, Nicole Kidman and Matthew Goode.

SUNDAY NIGHT FILM CLUB

It is a 'club' in name only and is open to hotel guests and members of the public. The concept is very simple - Dinner and movie for $55 per person OR cocktail, bar plate and movie for $35 per person. Dinner is chosen from a 3 course set menu. The movie is screened in the hotel's sumptuous 99 seat state-of-the-art cinema at 8pm. Dinner and Cocktails are served beforehand in The Crosby Bar. Each week a different film is shown ranging from a recent release to a classic. There will also be a short film screened beforehand.
