26th MAY - FINDING NEMO 3D **SCREENING AT

Computer-animated adventure film written and directed by Andrew
Stanton, and produced by Pixar Animation Studios. Marlin, a timid
clownfish, and his son Nemo become separated in the Great Barrier
Reef. An epic aquatic journey begins as a motley crew of undersea
characters embark on the rescue mission of a lifetime. Featuring
the vocal talent of Ellen DeGeneres and Willem Dafoe.
26th MAY - IN THE HOUSE **SCREENING AT
6.30PM**
Clever psychological comedy about erotic obsession directed by
François Ozon and starring Fabrice Luchini, Ernst Umhauer, and
Kristin Scott Thomas. A teenage boy becomes intrusively close to
his friend's family and writes about it in essays for his French
teacher. Faced with this gifted and unusual pupil, the teacher
rediscovers his enthusiasm for his work, but the boy's intrusion
unleashes a series of uncontrollable events.
2nd JUNE - SHALLOW GRAVE **SCREENING AT
2.30PM**
Danny Boyle's directorial debut is a veritable master class of
psychological suspense. Three close friends sharing a flat in
Edinburgh invite the mysterious Hugo to move in as a lodger. One
day, after not having seen Hugo for some time, they break into his
room to discover him dead of a drug overdose and in possession of a
briefcase full of money. Starring Ewan McGregor, Kerry Fox and
Christopher Eccleston.
2nd JUNE - TRANCE **SCREENING AT 6.30PM**
British thriller directed by Danny Boyle and written by Joe Ahearne
and John Hodge. The film stars James McAvoy, Rosario Dawson, and
Vincent Cassel. Simon, a fine art auctioneer, teams up with a
criminal gang to steal a Goya painting worth millions of dollars,
but after suffering a blow to the head during the heist he awakens
to discover he has no memory of where he hid the painting. Starring
James McAvoy, Rosario Dawson, and Vincent Cassel
9th JUNE - THE LOOK OF LOVE **SCREENINGS AT 2.30PM &
6.30PM**
In an irresistible piece of casting, Steve Coogan plays Paul
Raymond, the late Soho porn baron, property magnate and would-be
founder of a family business in Michael Winterbottom's long awaited
biopic. This fascinating and insightful journey through the darker
side of London in the 1960s and 70s also features the likes of
Stephen Fry, Anna Friel and David Walliams.
16th JUNE - IRON MAN 3D **SCREENING AT
2.30PM**
Marvel Comics superhero film starring Robert Downey Jr., Gwyneth
Paltrow and Ben Kingsley. Set after the events that occurred in The
Avengers, Tony Stark's world is torn apart by a formidable
terrorist called the Mandarin. Left only to rely on his instincts,
he must embark on a harrowing quest to find those responsible for
destroying his personal life.
16th JUNE - RAMBO: FIRST BLOOD **SCREENING AT
6.30PM**
Classic action film based on the David Morrell novel First Blood
and starring Sylvester Stallone. John Rambo, a Vietnam veteran,
uses his combat skills against the lawman of a small town when he
arrests and abuses him. The film is notable for its portrayal of
the psychological after-effects of the Vietnam War, particularly
the challenges faced by American veterans attempting to
re-integrate into society.
23rd JUNE - WELCOME TO THE PUNCH **SCREENING AT
3.30PM**
British crime thriller directed by Eran Creevy. Ex-criminal Jacob
Sternwood is forced to return to London when his son is involved in
a heist gone wrong. This gives his nemesis, detective Max Lewinsky,
one last chance to catch the man he's always been after. Starring
James McAvoy, Mark Strong, and Andrea Riseborough.
30th JUNE - THE PLACE BEYOND THE PINES **SCREENING AT
3.30PM**
Crime drama directed by Derek Cianfrance and starring Ryan
Gosling, Bradley Cooper, Eva Mendes, and Ray Liotta. A motorcycle
stunt rider turns to robbing banks as a way to provide for his
lover and their newborn child, a decision that puts him on a
collision course with an ambitious rookie cop navigating a
department ruled by a corrupt detective.
