British comedy directed by Dustin Hoffman and based on the play of the same name by Ronald Harwood. At a home for retired musicians, the annual concert to celebrate Verdi's birthday is disrupted by the arrival of Jean, an eternal diva and the former wife of one of the residents. Features an all-star cast including Maggie Smith, Michael Gambon, and Billy Connolly.

After India's father dies, her Uncle Charlie, who she never knew existed, comes to live with her and her unstable mother. She comes to suspect this mysterious, charming man has ulterior motives and becomes increasingly infatuated with him. Starring Mia Wasikowska, Nicole Kidman and Matthew Goode.

JUNE 9 - SIDE EFFECTS
Riveting psychological thriller directed by Steven Soderbergh and starring Jude Law, Rooney Mara, Catherine Zeta-Jones and Channing Tatum. Once part of a successful New York couple, Emily is plagued with clinical depression after a car crash and starts a course of treatment under a respected psychiatrist. However as Emily's relationship with both her doctor and medication intensifies, she finds herself descending into a chemical-fuelled nightmare where the lines between fantasy and reality become dangerously blurred.

SUNDAY NIGHT FILM CLUB

It is a 'club' in name only and is open to hotel guests and members of the public. The concept is very simple - Dinner and movie for $55 per person OR cocktail, bar plate and movie for $35 per person. Dinner is chosen from a 3 course set menu. The movie is screened in the hotel's sumptuous 99 seat state-of-the-art cinema at 8pm. Dinner and Cocktails are served beforehand in The Crosby Bar. Each week a different film is shown ranging from a recent release to a classic. There will also be a short film screened beforehand.
