BUILD AFRICA is a UK based charity that undertakes and supports work in rural Uganda.

Firmdale Hotels has sponsored the construction of Kawo Kakira Primary School in Bukedea, Uganda. This sponsorship encompasses the building of a classroom; the supply of resources required for the children, including desks and books; the supply of teachers' furniture; the building of a latrine block; all construction co-ordination costs, including site visits, organisation of the school construction committee and the liaising with government officials. In February 2011, Firmdale employees visited the school and assessed the progress, and this can be seen in the video footage.
