PAST RECOMENDATIONS
GODSPELL
Circle in the Square Theatre, 1633 Broadway, NY 10019 T: 212 307
0388
The hit 1970s musical has returned to Broadway. Originally it was
seen as a subconscious attempt to fill the depleted pews of
Christian churches all over America with lyrics taken straight from
the Christian canon and set to music of the day's youth. At the
time it was a completely new way of making religious music. Today
it is more in line with mainstream Christian rock. It's energetic,
charismatic and a real feel good musical.
