A 'club' in name only, hotel guests and members of the public can dine in BRASSERIE MAX, the hotel's restaurant & bar and then see the 'film of the week'. The movie will vary from a classic to a latest release. AFTERNOON TEA or a two course DINNER with a glass of premium wine and the movie costs £35 per person. Excludes service charge. The film starts at 8pm.

19th APRIL - THE BOOK THIEF
Touching drama based on the bestselling novel by Markus Zusak and starring Geoffrey Rush and Emily Watson. While subjected to the horrors of Nazi Germany, young Liesel finds solace by stealing books and sharing them with others. 

26th APRIL - THE MONUMENTS MEN
Based on the true story of the greatest treasure hunt in history, the film is an action drama focusing on an unlikely World War II platoon, tasked by FDR with going into Germany to rescue artistic masterpieces from Nazi thieves and returning them to their rightful owners. Directed by George Clooney and starring Matt Damon, Bill Murray, Hugh Bonneville and George Clooney.

3rd MAY - RICHARD II
Richard II, the fastest selling show in the RSC's history, sees David Tennant take the title role directed by RSC Artistic Director Gregory Doran. Richard is King, ordained by God to lead his people. But he is also a man of very human weakness. A man whose vanity threatens to divide the great houses of England and drag his people into a dynastic civil war that will last 100 years.

10th MAY - THE GRAND BUDAPEST HOTEL
The adventures of Gustave H, a legendary concierge at a famous European hotel between the wars, and Zero Moustafa, the lobby boy who becomes his most trusted friend. Directed by Wes Anderson and featuring an all-star cast including Bill Murray, Tilda Swinton, Edward Norton and Ralph Fiennes.

17th MAY - YVES SAINT LAURENT
This lush but revealing biopic looks at the designer's turbulent career through the prism of his lover and business partner Pierre Bergé. Bergé built a fashion empire around YSL, but the couturier's personal demons constantly threatened their success. Directed by Jalil Lespert and starring Pierre Niney, Guillaume Gallienne and Laura Smet.

24th MAY - ENO: PETER GRIMES
Experience the searing psychological drama, intrigue and suspense of Benjamin Britten's opera Peter Grimes, performed by the English National Opera.Peter Grimes paints a vivid picture of a small community's descent into suspicion, gossip and mob mentality in the face of a tragedy.

31st MAY - NOAH
In this astonishing version of the biblical story, Noah receives warning from Methuselah of the catastrophic consequences of God's wrath, and builds a vessel capable of saving his family for a new and better world. Directed by Darren Aronofsky and starring Russell Crowe, Ray Winstone, Jennifer Connelly, and Emma Watson.

7th JUNE - CALVARY
Kindly rural priest Father Lavelle is threatened in the confession box by an unseen man who vows to kill him in a week's time. Captivating, characterful and bursting with black humour, Calvary is a gripping whodunnit. Directed by John Michael McDonagh and starring Brendan Gleeson and Chris O'Dowd.

14th JUNE - CAPTAIN AMERICA: THE WINTER SOLDIER
Following the calamitous events of AVENGERS ASSEMBLE, Captain America accidentally uncovers a conspiracy that endangers the entire planet. Working with fellow S.H.I.E.L.D. agent the Black Widow, he finds himself confronting a new and terrible foe, the eponymous Winter Soldier.

SUNDAY 15th JUNE - RUSH
Adrenaline fuelled drama directed by Ron Howard and written by Peter Morgan chronicling the legendary 1970s Formula 1 rivalry between gifted English playboy James Hunt and his disciplined Austrian opponent, Niki Lauda. Starring Chris Hemsworth, Olivia Wilde and Daniel Brühl.

21st JUNE - THE LOVE PUNCH
When bitter divorcees fall prey to a swindler, they call in their social cavalry to help them wreak revenge. Set on the Côte d'Azur, this is possibly the first middle-aged caper movie.Directed by Joel Hopkins and starring Celia Imrie, Pierce Brosnan, Timothy Spall, and Emma Thompson.

28th JUNE - THE TWO FACES OF JANUARY
A glamorous couple arrive in Greece and embroil a young chancer in their sinister activities. Psychological thriller directed by Hossein Amini and starring Kirsten Dunst and Viggo Mortensen.
